Claxton Volunteer Fire Department is a nonprofit organization established in 1981. The department services the Claxton Community in Anderson County, TN. Additionally, Claxton Fire Dept. does provide mutual aid to the surrounding areas when requested. Our trained and certified volunteers respond to a wide array of emergency service calls.

 

The mission of the Claxton Volunteer Fire Department is to preserve and protect the lives and property of the citizens in our community by providing the services necessary to respond to threats from fire, accident, acts of nature and other emergencies. The Department will strive to improve its ability to provide these services through continuing training, education and prevention activities and will endeavor to deliver these services with the highest level of professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness possible.
